Hi my friends, yes I'm having computer woes, So It may be a few more days before I can work on making new kits. And as you all know you always have the best ideas when you can't use something. I Lost acess to our EHD and it has all I hold dear in the scrapping world on it.
Hopefully we can get all those files recovered. Crossing my fingers.

Believe me April, I know how you feel. The SAME EXACT thing happened to me on March 22, 2007 and AGAIN...yes, AGAIN on May 20th, a week ago. Both of these EHD were BRAND NEW! I took the latest one back on Sunday. I received a brand new one which is still in the box unopened. All of my precious data with all my kits is gone. Vanessa and Lara Payton helped me out tremendously when it happened, but a lot of kits and very precious data was not recovered... even kits..... some are retired and no longer exist. No, you have my sympathies. I hope you fair better than I did on both my losses. My EHD were Calvary and the Iomega. The first a 320 GB and this more recent...500GB. Man, it's devastating when something like that happens. I'm slowly trying to recoup what I can. I wish you luck with you. It can be a nightmare. From now on, I will BACKUP my backup and then BACK UP that one....lol. I learned a valuable and expensive lesson.

Just came accross this old Post..Hope you dont mind me adding a comment,,I too have had the experience of a Hard Drive failure..but was able to retrieve all of the Files ata cost of €2200...an expensive lesson.,Check out MozyHome they let you store, via Internet your most precious files on a remote and secure server
